Here is what we are looking for:
Finance Officer Internship:
Do you want to gain professional experience while getting involved in the local arts scene? Are you a finance or business major looking for a year-length financial officer internship for a small film festival LLC in Fort Collins? The Weekend Warrior Film Festival, a 48-hour film-making venture, is looking for you to serve your community as a volunteer accountant. Your position would involve setting up a bank account for the incoming sponsorship and revenue, keeping detailed books of the festival, taking care of taxes, and helping the festival organizers make the event more profitable. If you’re a savvy business-minded person with a passion for the arts, please contact Jesse Nyander with your qualifications and interest.
Marketing Director Internship:
The Weekend Warriors Film Festival, LLC is looking for a marketing genius to become the Marketing Director for the third round 48-hour film making festival in Fort Collins. In this position you will gain invaluable experience and credentials while getting involved in the exploding film scene in Colorado and serving the community. The Marketing Director is responsible for maintaining a social media presence, writing press releases, interacting with the media on behalf of the festival, making videos of the event, and branding a young film festival. In this position you will have tons of creative input and the opportunity to make connections within our creative culture on the upswing. We will consider an enthusiastic undergraduate for this position. Contact Jesse Nyander with your qualifications and interest.
Looking to gain experience in event photography and to contribute to the community of film-makers? The Weekend Warrior Film Festival wants you to be the documentarian of the festival event! In this position you will rub elbows with the local film-making community while building your portfolio as a videographer and photographer. On October 20th the 48-hour long film-making project begins. Twenty-five teams will race to complete a short film in two days and you will be along for the ride to document as many of these teams in process as possible. Your footage will be used for promotional purposes and certainly be correctly credited to you. Contact Jesse Nyander with a link to your portfolio and interest.
The Weekend Warrior Film Festival is holding its 3rd 48-hour film-making challenge this November and we need you to do a vital, one-time job! As the show-runner you’d be asked to help set-up and run the film screening on November 4th. You’d arrive in the afternoon and help the organizers set up for the event, organize awards ceremony, and help with the after-party. If you want a minimal commitment and a maximum contribution, this is the job for you! This is a great volunteer gig for a thoughtful people-person who wants to contribute to the burgeoning film scene in Northern Colorado. If you’re interested, contact Jesse Nyander
